The lake has opened and we are booking guided trips for the season! Fishing at the lake has been good, but has lacked consistency. We are finding fish during the early mornings or late afternoons most consistently. Retrieving files has been the most productive with the booby and streamer combos (Midnight Cowboy or Jan’s Tui Chub), but we have gotten a few takedowns on the indicator as well with dark colored balanced leeches

The surface water temp is in the high 50’s and should continue to move lower as our overnight temps are sub 40 degrees. As always days with a little cloud cover and wind will fish the best pushing those trout out of the depths and into shallow water to feed!

Pyramid Lake Flies We Suggest: Booby Fly (Spanish Olive, Cat Whisker, Diablo), Pyramid Lake Beetle, Bellyache Minnow, Midnight Cowboy, Jans Tui-Chub, Balanced Leech, Holographic Midge
